Mission and Vision
Humanitarian Aid Projects Sharing the Love of CHRIST Through the Medical Profession
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 tells us, “With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of His calling, and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
The primary goal of Ministry of Mercy is that God be glorified thought our acts of faith which are in response to His calling. All of the provisions for the ventures of Ministry of Mercy come to us by way of prayer and faith, so that it may been seen by all those who look upon Ministry of Mercy that God is faithful still, and that He hears and answers all prayers.
Therefore, as fellow Christians, please pray for this ministry as we seek God’s will and respond to His will in faith and in action. The Lord is meeting needs and touching lives through the Ministry of Mercy and we pray that He continues to count us worthy of His calling and that He would fulfill every good purpose and act of this ministry.
The Statement of Principles and Objectives of Ministry of Mercy:
1. We consider every member of the board to be a believer in the completed and finished work of Jesus Christ. Each member professes to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
2. We never intend to ask unconverted persons of rank or wealth to countenance this ministry.
3. We may invite unconverted persons to accompany a medical or construction team and/or help with the ministry; however, they may not manage the affairs of the ministry.
4. We invite unconverted persons to accompany us for the purposes of introducing them to Jesus, in hopes that they will accept Him as their personal Savior and to give them the opportunity to share themselves and their expertise with those of a culture and or country.
5. Before determining to allow a person to participate in the work of this ministry, whether they are converted or unconverted, the ministry team of Ministry of Mercy seeks first the will of God through prayer through the study of God’s Word.
6. We never intend to ask unbelievers for money except those who pay their own way on mission trips.
7. We intend never to enlarge the field of labor by contracting debts, but in secret prayer, we shall carry the wants of the ministry to the LORD, and act according to the means that GOD shall give us.
8. We do not reckon the success of the ministry by the amount of money given but by the LORD’s blessing upon the work and the changed lives of all those who participate and help through our Ministry of Mercy.
9. We desire to go and do the things we do, as GOD directs us with simplicity, honesty and integrity, following His plans, as He directs us, without compromising His truth.
10. We consider that our purpose is to present the gospel and share the love of JESUS CHRIST with all.
11. We desire to assist those ministries whose proceedings appear to be most according to the Scriptures.
12. We consider it unscriptural for any person, who does not profess to know the LORD, to give religious instruction.
